What do you love about being a SunDevil?!
I love the Sun Devil spirit! Getting dressed up in maroon and gold and going to football games is probably my favorite thing about going to ASU. Tailgating and cheering our football team on makes me proud to be a SunDevil!
Why did you want to go to ASU?
When I was in high school I flew out here to visit some of my cousins who live in scottsdale. I toured ASU and fell in love with the campus. It is really a beautiful place and there is such a great energy all around campus. That tour of campus is what really made me excited and motivated to go to college!
What is Allie Vossoughi’s favorite place on campus?
The SRC is my favorite place on campus. I love to work out there and then lay by the pool! The facility is so nice and I cant wait to see the end result of all the recent construction.
What do you want to do after graduation?
My plans are always changing because I am interested in so many different things, but right now I think I want to move to Southern California and get a job in marketing. After a year of working I plan on going to graduate school to get my masters degree.
What do you look for in a guy?
I have a weakness for guys with a great smile and blue eyes. Most importantly though is a laid back attitude and a good sense of humor. I am very easy going when it comes to relationships! I like a guy who is always up for a good time and knows how to make me laugh.
What defines sexy to Allie?
I think someone is sexy when they are completely comfortable in their own skin. Someone who carries them self with confidence is sexy. Being physically attractive is a plus, but if someone is confident it makes them a million times hotter!
What do you do for entertainment?
I love to just hang out with friends and go to parties on the weekends. I also really enjoy spending time at the lake wake boarding or tanning by my pool.
Tell us something not many people know about you.
Not many people know that I am persian. Despite my blonde hair and blue eyes much of my family is actually from Iran! The only giveaway is my crazy last name!
What is the most exhilarating thing Allie Vossoughi has ever done?
Moving from my small hometown in California to Tempe is the most exhilarating thing I have done. I was only 17 and can remember the first few weeks feeling completely unreal. It was so exciting to suddenly have complete freedom and be around thousands of new people!
Why do you want to be a 12?
I want to be a 12 because I think it will be an all around great learning experience for me. I am very interested in the networking aspect and being involved in marketing and promotional work. On top of that I think it would be so much fun to work with eleven other awesome girls! I would be so excited to have eleven new friends as well as a whole new network of people in my life.
What is one thing you can’t live without?
I don’t think I could live without my car. I work all the way in Phoenix so I spend a good deal of time in it every day. Its a place where I can shamelessly sing out loud to the radio and relieve stress if I am having a busy week!

Drink coffee! I am a major coffee addict and can’t go without it. I’ll admit I get a little grumpy if I miss my two cups in the morning!

Get a tattoo. I actually love to look at other people’s tattoos and find out the meaning behind them. Some are so beautiful and interesting! That being said I could never get one myself. I couldn’t imagine committing to something on my body that would be there forever. I am also a huge baby when it comes to pain, so its pretty much out of the question!
Favorite place to dine in Tempe?
SALUT! Its a cute little restaurant right next to Gateway and has the best sandwiches and bruschetta.
Favorite sports team?
San Francisco Giants! I grew up in Northern California so Ive been to several of their games. Im in love with AT&T Park and the Giants!
